My dearest Chuck, I can't believe that after all you have been through with HepC, you had to fall victim to pancreatic cancer. You were such an inspiration to me when I was in treatment (with interferon, ugh)! Sometimes I still can't believe you are gone, as many of your posts come up in my memories, bringing a tear to my eye. Missing you greatly, brave dragon slayer!
I am amazed at how strong a person my friend Chuck was. Until I met him in person, at his class of 1975 reunion, we were just facebook friends, writing privately about music and the music scene back in the 60's, and 70's. In 2015, his 40th high school reunion came around, and he was sure that he couldn't make it for many reasons, and was very sad about that. I made sure that Chuck was at his reunion, and well taken care of. I am thankful for Chuck being in my life.
What an amazing story! My dad's story is quite similar and how's this for a coincidence...he also worked on the Space Shuttle! Thank you for sharing.
Chuck .. I am happy that support groups have given you the chance to see that we are not alone, and that everyone who does participate in hep c communities, learn first hand often from Pioneers of our Time. I have been clear of this virus for over a dozen of years, I paid the price, since it did messed up my body and mind, but am grateful that I have cleared the dragon. Since then I have been helping other Warriors online, giving back to the cause, which is very important to me.1 day at the time

Chuck I read the account of what happened to you. How are you today? I'd love to know my name is Charles and I am the founder of Infected Blood Australia.
