An upstate New York hospital has warned some patients they might have been exposed to HIV and hepatitis, the Times Herald-Record reports. The Catskill Regional Medical Center alerted patients that insulin pens might have been reused from 2007 to this May. The hospital is still determining how many patients might have been exposed. As a precautionary measure, it recommends patients treated with insulin pens during that time period to get tested for HIV as well as hepatitis B and C.
