Why didn't the story provide any mention of the large number of victims who received Hepatitis C through blood transfusions? The Los Angeles Times, issue of March 6, 1998, printed a story by the Associated Press which stated, â??â?¦about 300,000 people may have contracted it (Hepatitis C) from a blood transfusion.â? I became one of these victims on October 28, 1985 during heart surgery. Prior to the surgery my offers and my family's offers to donate blood for my use were refused through deceit!

As a surviving cast member in the Bad Blood documentary, the entire story could not be captured about my life venue. While my wife was dying in a Nashville, TN hospital from PCP in 1987 (the dark ages, the Friends of Nashville, a Gay Support group were the only ones who reached out to give support and embraced me during this highly emotionally traumatizing time. For this I will be eternally grateful.
